Beware of Harry Caray lookalikes while banking.
A thief disguised as former Cubs announcer Harry Caray pulls off a bank heist in Chicago's southwest suburbs.
On Wednesday, Palos Heights Police say a man walked into the Palos Bank and Trust on South Harlem. He was wearing a dark blue uniform and the trademark Harry Caray glasses.
The man reportedly waited in line and when his turn came, he handed the teller a note. FBI investigators say she handed him $2,000 and he took off in a silver Toyota.
This happened a couple of weeks ago and I can't believe I hadn't heard this story yet. Hysterical. Dude does have some nerve. Going into White Sox territory disguised as Harry Caray and robbing a bank? Ballsy. That's just asking for a beatdown. Let him keep the money.
If the guy has a sense of humor, I hope he signed his check by jumbling up his name.
