A Sweep? Hey, Why Not?

It has certainly been refreshing to see the White Sox beat the upstart Tigers the past two nights by doing exactly what they did all of last year: winning close, low-scoring games behind solid pitching, sqeezing out a few runs, and capitalizing on their opponents' mistakes.

That's more like it.

For the second night in a row Alex Cintron was the hero, this time driving in Joe Crede with the winning run a night after belting a three-run, game-winning homer in the eighth. Juan Uribe's wife better have their kid fast or he may not win his starting job back.

I don't want to be greedy, and I'm definitely happy that the Sox have already won this series, but to pull off the sweep tonight and move back into first place after spending the last couple of weeks looking at the Tigers' tail would be, oh, so sweet.

Here we go now.
