So, So Sweet

The Fire practiced in its new Bridgeview Stadium yesterday. Several pics of the event can be found here. The new digs look so, so sweet. There is something about a stadium, even when empty, that I find to be simply beautiful.

The home "opener" is Sunday, but that's only for season ticket holders, VIPs, and area residents. The official opener and celebration is June 25th. I have tickets and if I can borrow a digital camera for the day (and momentarily join the rest of the world in the 21st century) I plan to supply pics of the packed house. Should be a great time.
