Masterful

Round one of this weekend's mega-important White Sox-Tigers series went to the Pale Hose, 5-0. Even sweeter, it was the team's most complete win in quite a while. Jose Contereas looked refreshingly like the virtually unbeatable pitcher he was early in the season - he carried a no-hitter into the sixth - and the offense pounded Rookie of the Year and Cy Young candidate Justin Verlander for 15 hits. Now that's what I'm talking about.

As I keep saying, one game at a time. There is no reason to conclude that the Sox have turned the corner. Today is another important one, especially to Mark Buehrle, who has to snap out of his slump at some point, right? Right?

Right?

Here we go now.
